Drone Racing

Local drone pilots will race their drones in the field behind Riggs Beer Company. Drone racing is a sport where participants control “drones” (typically small radio-controlled aircraft or quadcopters), equipped with cameras while wearing head-mounted displays showing the live stream camera feed from the drones. Similar to full size air racing, the goal is to complete a set course as quickly as possible.
Races start at around noon and will end at around 4 pm.
This event is open to the public.
There is no fee to see the drones fly.
Event may be cancelled in case of inclement weather.
No outside beverages allowed.
